since Sollux, being the Mage of Doom, was protected from doom by having two dream selves, letting him be revived even though one was dead. While being treated negatively by Doom, he did escape death ... heh
While we are on the subject of Sollux, a Mage can be someone who "gains knowledge from (aspect)" as opposed to a Seer who "gains knowledge through (aspect)" cuz he legit had the "doomed" talking to him.
But you know, since we dont really have much material to work with with Mages, everyone can think of them however they wish :b
