*sigh* The youth of today for the most part are little shits, I can't go ten minutes outside my house without seeing a fourth grader being a douche. Hell, when I was in fourth grade me and my buds would talk about being cruel to others, but we wouldn't dare do it for fear of our parents and punishment.
While today most of the kids just don't give a damn because they law don't affect them. And they know it. I watched as these three kids on the bus harrased a shy grown women because she had a little pin saying she supports gay marriage. And the sad thing is, no one did anything not even after she was tearing up, hell I didn't do anything fearing the kids calling the police and having to deal with cops. After maybe 15 minutes of watching the poor girl get harassed I finally did something, said something was moving to sit right across the kids and say "You want them gone miss?" while wearing my uniform. The kids just laughed at me and her when she nodded, one of them even said I can't do anything.
Welp with that I snapped and pulled the cord for the bus to stop, when the doors opened I grab the kids bag and hauled his ass out of the bus. Everyone just looked at me in shock and horror, kids buddy said his dad was a cop and what I did was against the law. I reply "Verbal assault is deemed harassing, and I didn't touch your friend. I only touched his bag, now get of this bus before I break some laws, cause boy it'll be worth it" Kids nearly shit themselves as they run off. The rest of the bus ride I spend trying to boost the moral of the girl cause she looked like she was going to kill herself when she got home.
Worst thing is, I deal with stuff like this once a week at least, and all because lifa have no respect. Hell I'll admit I don't respect my parents all the time. But I respect everyone of my elders unless they start a fight with me. Kids just don't care or respect anyone, and I think this is because one Parents can't hit there kids, two schools can't punish kids (they can't... Its quite sad) and three there is no one other then there parents telling them to be good. I had the cadet program which taught me respect and my parents had the church and sports. Today all kiss have are there gake systems, parents and teachers.
So yeah... The youths of today need to smarten up, or I can see my generation and the elder generations demanding some laws re instated.
