I certainly agree about friendships, but I am still very suspicious regarding online relationships.

I agree to a certain extent. I have a few people who I'd consider as close as my non-internet friends, but I still choose to make sure they're not a stalker or a dude pretending to be a young teenage girl or something. Not out of distrust, but out of necessity. I've had too many people have trouble with stalkers at one point or another because of quick trust. I have no idea why I just typed that out. Carry on.

Although I see this as the future (and basically present) reality, I still won't let my future children use the internet for a long long time, cause the lack of real relationships these days scares me (despite not really having a real relationship myself lol)
