Well it all started with the famous german pretzels. The socialists thought you should salt them all the same so they would all have an equal taste, but the liberals thought you should just apply the salt liberally. Which was all heightened by the fact that it was the second reich not the first and you know the saying "First the worse, second the best" but not everyone agreed on that old saying, thus further dividing the political parties of Germany at the time. The political stances were now, "Second bester Socialists, First just as good Liberals, Second bester liberals and first just as good socialists" And that's why to this day when you buy pretzels in a box from the store they give you a salt packet instead of salting pretzels themselves. Because YOU can decide what kind of salt you want on your pretzel, and don't have to split into four political parties like Germany. Tell your teacher that, in run on sentence too many commas fashion!
