They didn't have to know who was coming to raid a highway, also, it's impossible to sail from the Mediterranean to the Pacific

I didn't sail out of the mediterranean, I used international ports in the nations south of me, as I was permitted to do so.

And it turned out that the seas nearby the Phillippines are closely guarded by the raiders. Yes I see most would have got through, but 2-3 were stolen
