So long as the Palestines(?) only want to drive the Israeli into the sea it will provably stay like this far a while.

This is an interesting subject, I had a speech about it in school last year. It's a very hard conflict to solve, because there's so many aspects of it, but a one state solution is not really an option. That'd be the same as Israel ruling both of the countries. Though people in Palestine keep shooting rockets into Israel, Israel can't be seen as "the good guy" in this conflict. While people in Palestine has been shooting rockets at Israel, Israel has been bombing UN schools and hospitals in Palestine. Israel has been building settlements on palestinian ground, which is illegal according to all international law. They have also been blocking transport of food and other critical items to palestine, causing starvation and crisis. Then again, rockets have been found in some UN school buildings, which is a problem, but that doesn't make bombing them valid. Then again, I'm not sure that Palestine at the time is able to create a working government, but I'm sure that Israel running Palestine wouldn't work either. A solution that I've seen suggested is to unite Israel and Palestine, then divide them into states just like in the US. Trump seems to be open to a one-state solution, while Obama was very clear on that it'd have to be a two-state solution.
In my opinion the problem is just that after world war 2, we basically "gifted" the land to jews. We literally took land people lived in and just gave it away, because we felt bad for the jews. This was a horrible idea, and is why it'll probably never be OK there.
