A Wolf At The Door by Radiohead also takes a strong approach to feeling overwhelmed. i would paste excerpts like the previous songs, but it really rambles on and it's the quantity and the sequencing of all the lyrics that gives it any power. another song with simple lyrics by one of my favorite artists is In This World by Moby, where he samples: "Lordy don't leave me All by myself So many time's I'm down Down down With the ground" moby has a new album coming out this year, recording just finished. considering recent political events it doesn't surprise me. but this was fuckin fast, cuz his last one was in october. probably worked on it all day every day. im wicked excited tho!
