1) Why just crossbows? Why can't dwarfs use bows instead? Or slings? I mean, they have shorter arms, but are considered stronger physically so it shouldn't be a problem. 2) Grudgebearers aren't that effective in my opinion. They're basically cannonfodder, with quite the social and psychological stigma. I also find padded gambesons better than properly hardened leather: it's easier to create/replace, is more flexible and requires less materials to maintain (mushrooms enjoy leather a lot). 3) The Warrior has full steel armor and just a hand axe, I assume. Isn't that a bit of a waste? You could have just given them a shield and not covered them in plate. I mean, orcs are pretty fond of scavenging, and if they reuse dwarfish steel and armor, that would be the problem. 4) You give shields to crossbowmen but not to the Warriors? 5) Guardians and Warriors are basically the same thing: both have full plate armor as common soldiers but lack equipment. Mixing them, meaning having more, versatile soldiers with a pike and an axe could be a better option. 6) Ironbeards are Warriors with shields. I'm starting to think having a shield is some sort of social status recognition. Still, an analogy to the knight could be done, by making use of their full plate armor, discarding the shield and giving them two handed weapons. 7) Dwarfs are racist against humans by applying the same rules as them only without full plate armor. 8) The guards should have a sidearm, simple as that. Also, do bills have a pointy, long part at the end? 'Cause it could be better than actual spears, ignoring the weight and inability to use it properly with one hand (this is speculation without research). 9) Side note on shields: how big are they? Are they scaled to dwarfish size? What shape are they? How much do they cover? What's the point of having them if all your troops are living tanks? That's just me nitpicking while being bored at the toilet, feel free to ignore my points which are written by a random dude and not a historical expert or YouTube'r.

Since my phone refuses to let me put a direct reply, I'm just gonna use here. 1. This is a roughdraft, but a good point. I'll add a unit that uses bows in the light infantry section. 2. I tried basing them off Slayers from Warhammer, but I plan on editing them. I'll reply with more later, thanks for that.

Not done yet, teheheheheheheh. 1) Rangers should have bows, they're much easier to maintain/build/repair (same for ammo) and make less sound than crossbows. 2) I think I made a mistake before. The part where strength supposedly balances the shorter arms is wrong: the strength of the arrow comes from the pull. So, maybe dwarfs are able to throw arrows much faster (shorter arms), hold it longer than humans (strength) and tire much later than hoomies. 3) A realization of mine is that leg armor is completely useless in dwarfs. Like, no one could reach it. No one. 4) Since every soldier is somewhat covered in plate armor, the usage of shields seems to be for defensive tactics (ex. incoming missiles, pikemen), but Warriors could make a great use of spears, for the reach and the fact that, compared to polearms', weight is smaller and distributed in such a way they can be handled with just one hand (still keep their axes, tho.). 5) For some reason I didn't realise before, but Guardians are in fact, guards. And pikes were intended to be defensive (a group of men with long spiky bits) weapons due to their unwieldiness. And these dwarfs have to handle them in narrow corridors, so it takes nothing for an assailant to grab one and just run through the defense. I suggest adding a side arm and a polearm to their arsenal. 6) Your army doesn't have pikemen. It's a fault, specially when angry wolves run against you. 7) Spears to everyone, including the Dalians! Men at Arms, tho. The Yeomanry sounds like Nils Dacke without the honorabru part, by the way. I like that, you probably didn't know that but I like that. 8 ) I noticed something. You make it sound like any settlement has a defensive wall. Well...why would cavalry get near a wall? They're useless. Dalian guards have no need to cut down horsemen, for horsemen would stay the f**k away from the walls. Other than that, don't see any problem if you alternate shield'n spear guys to defend shieldless bill guys. 9) ...greatswords?

1. Because I like crossbows, better for killing armored foes as well. And Rangers typically will have overrun the entire orc patrol/warband, or at least weaken it. The sound keeps orcs awaken, and fearful. 2. I plan to use both archers and crossbows in my army, with archers being exclusive to light and middle tier. 3. I am aware, but Dimitri don't care. 4. I need some sort of stalwart melee troop, since I plan to be taking on orcs, for the most part, which lack cavalry. 5. Aye, I haven't gotten to that yet. A nice sword would be fitting. 6. Guardians have pikes, but I may add an auxiliary tier to fill in the missing areas, like cav, ranged, spears, etc. 7. I based them off English longbows and a bit of Bretonnian stuff. 8. Villages lack walls, would be too expensive and a stretch of resources to build them at every village. Forts, which are primarily along the old highway to the Iron Hills, do have stone walls, tho. 9. These buggers can wield mattocks and shit with ease, I'm tossing in greatswords because why tf not.
