Dorwinion is a land on the western banks of the Sea of Rhun. It is a land of wine-makers and traders, and the land of the Avari Elves, along with men that live there. Famous for their wine, their products have been seen as far as distant Gondor and the Halls of the Woodland King. They are constantly being attacked by Easterlings from nearby Rhun. There are three main settlements, the largest being a large town called Caras Sant, which is at the end of the River Running. The second largest is a castle in the west of the land called Sant Annui. The smallest and most threatened of the settlements is called Caras Falathrim. It is on the frontlines of the war against the Easterlings.

Aside from Erebor and the Iron Hills, what lands do the Northern Dwarves control?

I'd like Arnor or, if you decide to remove that, the Shire.

Not entirely sure yet. Most likely the southern part of the Withered Hearth, and a small piece f the gray mountains

So you want to be a smaller, weaker front line against evil?

Also, some Avari remain in the forested foothills of the Red Mountains, having never left on the journey to Valinor with Orome. Red Mountains Dwarves would be a nice faction to add as well. Unless the map of the RP doesn't extend that far into Rhun.

I got it all from DaC, a mod for Medieval 2.

I suggest adding scattered Dwarf-holds around the Ered Mithrin, isolated from all.

Nowhere in the books does it say that, but it's not too lore shattering, so I guess I won't object.

Dol Amroth is a lot cooler and it's its own little monarchy....
