I'm not even slightly religious, but I feel like in the past, when divorce was frowned upon, this happened so much less, and this benefited the children in the long term. So many people break up over a small issue, while those things always happen in a relationship, and are things that should be worked through. No relationship is without issues, people shouldn't take the slightest issue to break up. Of course, not being able to divorce at all isn't good either, since sometimes people have just grown too far apart, but I feel like it's a solution too easily, and too commonly used right now.
