My stand on the issue is that Islam never had the "reforms" Christianity had (referring to the books), where whole entire scriptures were changed and whole bloody wars fought over ideas that would be accepted as uniform (Secularization). Islam had remained the same with the Qu'ran for hundreds of years, and thus needs some kind of reform. Yes, most people are influenced by the West, but some are very devoted and remain as the radicals they are today.

Emphasis on the quotation marks around christian you put there. Look at the crusades, the spanish inquisition, and any other awful act of so called "christians", and it doesn't line up with the Bible.

It has reforms. The problem is that those who reform it added changes like this: girl can be married from the age of 9 (instead of 13), killing Jews and Christians is always reasonable, if 10 Shahid rape a non Muslim women she is Muslim, men can leave their wives whenever they want. Every religion relies on being spread, otherwise it will become dead. However, the way it is spread differs. The bible teaches people to spread it through peace, while the quran teaches people through opression. That doesn't mean that everyone who's part of that specific religion will do exactly as the book tells them to do, but it will influence some of them. So the crusades go against the message about spreading the religion. Therefore it is not a christian act. Besides of that, the reason why they (christians) started fighting in the first place, is because the muslims were fighting their 'holy war' at that time. However, christians haven't fought since the crusades stopped, while the muslims are still practising their 'holy war'.

Then it wasn't reformed enough. The Old Testament is an important part of the Bible, but no one is expected to follow it well. If your life is guided by exactly what the Old Testament teaches, you are frankly a terrible person. Interpretation of the Bible has completely changed over the centuries however, and that's why no one but fringe loons take it with anything more than a grain of salt. That's why no one has been stoned to death for adultery in quite a long time in the western world. Among lots of Muslim sects the Quran hasn't followed such a progression, and there are many people out there who still follow many parts of it that are unsavory to say the least with the same fervor that crusaders 1000 years ago had for the Bible. It's a relic of an inferior society with the persistence of a cockroach. Also killing Christians and Jews is not 100% acceptable in the Quran, that's only in battle. What actually is 100% acceptable is banning public worship, demolishing synagogues, charging (significantly) higher taxes on them (known as a jizya), and forcing them to wear distinctive clothing that marks them as Jews, which means that it is not even an exaggeration to compare the Quran to the Nuremberg laws. (Sometimes they would still immediately kill non-Muslims even though the Quran says they kinda shouldn't. So it goes.)

Christianity had no major scriptural reforms. They did have different translations, which changed a lot for a while, however, the original Hebrew & Greek manuscripts are 90% accurate to the modern versions. 10% difference is to misspellings, and minor word changes. Like 'hue' to 'color', simple stuff. If you don't believe me you can see for yourself

You've got a point there, but my point still stands that it's never been mentioned in the book they follow, therefore it is not in line with their faith, unlike the islam.

I suppose that's true, but I don't think the text in the book is so important. Muslims don't become terrorists because that's what their book says they should become, they radicalise because their life is pretty much shit and find a justification for unleashing their frustration in their religion. If Christianity were in the place that Islam is now, I'd expect there to be Christian terrorists.
