If this logic was true, why's there already millions of pre-orders? What you're forgetting is the operating system. iOS beats Android by a wide margin and no raw numbers beat it. That goes along with the feel of the iPhone, it's unmatchingly elegant, clean, and just a staple of cellphone technology. Plus, to the casual user, do these facts even matter? No. Yell at me all you want with intricate details, the phone will still be bought and enjoyed by millions.
Why do people think it's such a bad deal?1?1? I think it's generous they let us become emojis for that price

I know but they could have done something else that was quicker and easier. Idk what tho

Apple sells overpriced crap for rich hipsters. It is a bad phone with a big brand name on it, they sell the brand, the phone can be whatever crappy thing they can pour out of China. I know, I have trouble since its my job to make sure the Rich can connect to the local WIFI. Samsung does it easily, icrap? Yeah sometimes there is no helping it, and it has just one button to use instead of 3. Makes it all the harder. It may look shiny like Phanton Menace, but it stinks like the crap Jar Jar stepped into.

Amen. Like honestly, what gives them the right to charge 1k+ for a stupid phone?
Actually the vast majority of people want fewer buttons. That's one of the basic principles the revolutionary original iPhone was built upon. iPhone X eliminated the need for any button, S8 and Note 8 use virtual button. However the new gesture based multitouch GUI will take over. And I don't think iPhone is very exclusive to the rich, or Watch. Apple has sold 1.15 billion iPhones before iPhone 8 and X were released (more than any other smartphone) and Apple Watch is the #1 selling watch in the world right now.
People will wait for days outside an Apple Store just for the satisfaction of buying on at an Apple Store.

Because why would I spend 1000 dollars for a damn phone that doesn't do anything better than the one I have right now? In fact, it's worse. It's bullshit

That doesn't mean everyone is buying it. You do not know, because you are not in the lower class

Not really, a 4 digit price tag sets off a psychological barrier. This is why prices tend to do "$19.99", bigger numbers make people want it less

I was making a joke, I thought that was clear with the "?1?1?". Anyways, I agree that it's expensive for a phone. What about future generation phones? That's what I'm scared for.
In the USA, Canada, and Northern Europe its the most popular smartphone, Android and even Samsung all have dozens of models high and low end to choose from so obviously they have a larger global share, and are more popular in Latin America and Asia and Southern as well as Eastern Europe.
