The proportions of the Herobrine looks bigger than they should be at that distance.

Well it's that or a mod nicknamed themselves. Herobrines just a cringey Minecraft legend xd

like i said, they would have showed up on tab, but since they didn't, they weren't staff, my guess is that they where a well-coded NPC, or an actual player, since Herobrine is a real named character in minecraft.

Not exactly since you have players off they won't show up. Basically you can see staff just not in tab.
