We've had 18 school shootings this year alone. No other developed country in the world has gun problems as much as do. You know why? Because our gun laws are fucking awful and need to be changed. There is no excuse why we haven't changed our gun laws after the number of school shootings and mass shootings we've had over the past few years. Since 2013, there have been nearly 300 school shootings in the U.S. - that's an average of about one a week

These school shootings are all fucked up ._. Before I went to the high school I am currently at now, it had a threat last year and the whole school was evacuated. People that knew the kid said he was serious about his threat... Thank god it didn't happen thanks to the quick actions of the local authorities and the people that stepped up to tell someone.

Here in Canada we do not allow guns and rely on our police force which really rarely screws up! Guns are only available for hunting and police firearms! The background checks for both are extensive and can take weeks to complete, rather than just checking the criminal record and paying someone off to pass a psych test! Yay! Here in Canada we've had under 20 school shootings since our country has been founded, whereas in the US there have been about 200! I'm sorry, I'm a left-wing when it comes to civil rights, but economically right wing. I agree with DACA, but not the old old muslim ban. I can stand behind the right to protect yourself with a baseball bat, but not with a gun. Just my opinion.

The ‘muslim ban’ is a temporary travel restriction on 6 unstable Muslim majority countries (there are 47 total) and would resume after 90 days and improved vetting would be implemented. Other administrations have dome similar travel restrictions except by a regional zoned (not national) basis, which could include parts of multiple countries. After dozens of ISIS attacks in Europe and some reaching the US, Canada and Australia, it would be wise to re-evaluate travel and vetting (and immigration as a whole in Europe where the problem is worst).

Had they done it pre 2011 it would have succeeded. Remember also I am not a lifelong republican.

Pretty sure he was more worried about our economy that was ruined in 2008 by the Republicans.

First of all, the gatewaypundit is extremely right-wing biased. Second of all, Obama and the Democrats were the ones that lowered the deficit and got us out of the recession. He literally lowered our deficit 1 trillion dollars...
