Her initial argument is insane.Why would people have to learn about the origins of yoga? Why can't they just partake in it for the physical aspects? After all, isn't that what it's all about? If I want to play football, am I going to have to learn about the entirity of football history? If I play jazz music, am I automatically a white-supremacist if I haven't taught myself everything about the origins of it? If I visit some country, am I a racist if I don't learn about every last bit of history that country has? Look, either way, it's not up to her to decide whether or not people have to learn the history of yoga. I personally say that the original 'creators' (if you will) of yoga can have a say in that; not her.
