Enlightened, open minded, liberal ideology. When people who share these values begin to decline in number and be replaced by these who do not, who have different ideology western civilization is in danger of being erased. And we are divided as to wether or not this is true, or even happening. We are divided as to how to deal with this. Donald Trump can be a charismatic troll, but he is divisive. I don’t necessarily like Republicans and Donald Trump is disappointing especially how he handles people. But he is also willing to bring up subjects that everyone is afraid too. I think that jokes and satirical partisanism aside, my wall demonstrates that.
And with the division and trolling being done, or not done, hopefully the next President is not a far-leftist anti-right, democratic backlash, but someone who bridges the division and brings people together, and hears both sides.
For example when Donald Trump began his campaign, people were immediately divided, between those who saw racist hate speech, and those who saw the reluctant and crassly stated truth. I don’t think the physical wall is practical or cost effective, but fundamentally Trump is right that people need to follow the rules and we cannot have a broken immigration system and 12-16 million illegal immigrants, and anyone who realizes this is not a ‘racist nazi’.
This wall very much began as a joke and remains a long running one, but gas a serious side, it got more serious as people flocked towards it and started debates. I think it leads people to believe I support Trump much more than I actually do. I believe he really cares more about himself than the politics he has campaigned, as is true of most politicians. In other words from the beginning he is was too good to be true, and that has been proven. But I don’t think he is the ‘worst president ever’ at all.
