We shouldn't intervene, though the suffering is immense at some point we must put our interests ahead of others. Fighting another war in the Middle East, not to mention Russia's interference afterwords is not what ANY American nor I want.

However, we must take into account what ending the suffering means, we can't just do what we did with Iraq (Because now the problem is WORSE than when we came) especially not when they have an ally as powerful as Russia. It pains me dearly that they are suffering and dying, but if we do this millions more could suffer and die that wouldn't have otherwise.

[user]18319547[/user], my opinion on this is not due to the emotional urging of my heart, in fact my heart tells me to take up arms against the ones who dare slaughter their own people. But the logistics and long term planning in my brain say that it's a terrible long term idea... BECAUSE IT IS.

Where's your proof wouldn't be the first time America "liberated" a country and then turned the nation into a third world shithole. Assad was just fine before Obama paid off a bunch of "Syrian Rebels" who later turned out to be ISIS. The whole conflict in Syria and Iraq is because of America not Assad, and quite frankly it's ridiculous to blame Assad when the nerve agents can be made from any factory in Syria. Also I don't know if you know this but there is kind of a Civil War going on in Syria not hard for ISIS to use nerve agents and kill civilians. I rest my case until substantial evidence is brought to light. Otherwise fuck out of Syria, fucking America and it's liberation left the country in rubble, and everyone in the middle east is eyeing a quick sweep of Syria. It's so bad the Country moved it's capital from Aleppo to Damascus because of the war.
