My bad, I didn't know that they did confiscate arms, although I wouldn't say that's the reason the revolution started. It started specifically due to stuff like higher taxes with no representation, and laws like the Navigation Acts, etc.

Yes, it was more of a countermeasure to the riots, since the American's wouldn't be able to defend themselves if they didn't have weapons.

Well they did try to do that so it’s not really untrue, but it’s not the sole reason for the revolution.

See it’s not quite 100% accurate to say they “took our guns”. They banned imports and seized gunpowder/ weapons from militias. I never found any large scale civilian disarmament. Btw I’m not even anti-gun rights I’m literally just trying to look at the facts here.

And the leftists can’t stand history except for when it talks about ‘white men oppressing the whole world’, or ‘christians terrorizing innocent peoples’ they don’t like to talk about the fact that Muslims invaded Europe before the crusades and how they tried to take over Spain, the Balkans, Italy, Austria and France. They don’t like to talk about the fact that Muslims have hated the Jews since their origin and took over Israel, which is why the Jews settled in Europe for centuries. They don’t like to talk about the fact that Arabs enslaved Christian Europeans and Africans alike. They don’t like to talk about how the African kings sold their own people that they enslaved to the Europeans for opium and guns. They don’t like to talk about the fact that the Aztecs were mostly beat by rival tribes that the Spanish rallied against them, and that the Aztecs were hated for being brutal oppressive conquering enemies and practiced human sacrifice even on children and families. They don’t like to talk about the fact that Communists killed way more people than the Nazis, and therefore the Alt-Left hammer and sickle is just as bad if not even worse than the swastika.
