Well, you could go the route of the Pesant's Crusade and gather a bunch of Pesants... and either end up pillaging the Byzantines on your way to the Holy Land, and end up being killed by the Ottomans. Or, you with this same route you could just end up butchering the local Jews in a blood bath, and stealing all their money from their corpses. You could also go about it the better route, by calling a decree to liberate the Holy Land from Ottoman control, and waiting until shortly after harvest to leave. You should split your armies under different lords in this strategy, and that will lead to absolutely NO infighting!

We can barely invade fucking land locked countries on the other side of the world, how do you think the invasion of a modernized state, with an acceptable navy, a defense force that can become quite a force if it comes down to it, and more factors would make that go? The world has changes since WWII, no one can pull off an invasion like that anymore.
