Government is not in the business of affirming its citizens’ love. Rather, it leaves consenting adults free to live and love as they choose. In all 50 states, two people of the same sex may choose to live together, choose to join a religious community that blesses their relationship, and choose a workplace offering joint benefits. There is nothing illegal about this, and that’s not what’s at issue here. What is at issue is whether the government will recognize such relationships as marriages—and then force every citizen, house of worship, and business to do so as well. At issue is whether policy will coerce and compel others to recognize and affirm same-sex relationships as marriages. All Americans have the freedom to live as they choose, but they do not have the right to redefine marriage for everyone else. I believe policy should not come into marriage, and that the individual should be sovereign over the collective.

Christian definition of marriage... My Religious Studies knowledge is very old, excuse me. "Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife and they shall become one flesh." This quote implies that God, in marriage, joins one man and one woman together. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains a favour from the Lord." This quote implies that when a man finds a wife, it is something that is liked by God. "If a man lies with a man as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death." This quote is self-explanatory. "A man should have his own wife and a woman should have her own husband" & "Multiply and fill the Earth." These quotes imply that you should marry your own husband/wife and then have children - which obviously only heterosexual can do - without adoption, IVF, etc.

I'm all for bakeries denying cakes, but it isn't right, if the baker is refusing to make a cake on the sole fact that the cake is for a gay marriage. Why should who I marry prevent someone for making a cake? The case your talking about would be different if the couple were dicks, but the people were kind. They just wanted a cake.

I don't care, let God judge them (for the Christians or Muslims). It's nobodies business really what someone else does. From an economic standpoint gay marriage would increase revenue so why not?

Everything has a ripple effect. It effects the morality of the culture. Leftists said this would not lead to polygamy, pedophilia and etc ... being pushed on our culture, but we've already seen a strong push for both happening. If nothing is sacred (marriage/faith/traditional family) then anything goes.

Idk it was reported that 90-95% of pedophiles are heterosexual, proportionate to the general population. In Islam polygamy and in some places child marriage happens. But homosexuality as a concept is punishable by death in Islam. Would two gay men getting married be worse than a Muslim with 7 wives, two of them underage and 21 children? Would it be worse than a ghetto ass dude in the hood with no wife, 6 baby mammas and 14 children with no dad? Worse than a 28 year old African dude with 9 wives, four of them under 18, 27 kids he cannot feed, in a village where the mean age in 19, the life expectancy is 44, and there are police that patrol to make sure nobody is ‘acting gay’. ?

The problem with the left is that they aren’t just out to spread awareness and acceptance. They are out to bury the non left, and have intolerance and bigotry of their own.
