They needn't be. Apple users aren't very adventurous and stick to what they know. I should know, I was one for 5 years. I crossed over to the other side and am not looking back in a hurry.

I don’t like the lack of software support, carrier bloatware, the need for apps to enable wifi calling and video conferencing, increased malware, lack of privacy with google services, lack of comparable customer service, dealing with carrier stores, having different prices and configurations for locked phones with carrier perks vs unlocked, the build qualify of most phones falls short of Apple except for Samsung’s premium lineup, lack of true tone display, lack of 3D touch, until the Galaxy S9 none of the android phones had louder stereo speakers.

I don't like the lack of software support Such as? Carrier bloatware I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and can confirm there is no bloatware on my phone. And no, I've not had to do anything to it or anything - I just got it like that. The need for apps to enable WiFi Calling and video conferencing I have WiFi Calling on my device without any applications and I also have video conferencing built into the stock Phone app. Lack of privacy with Google services Yep, I'll grant you that one. Lack of comparable customer service I've contacted both Apple and Samsung customer service for the same issue - broken earphones within the warranty period. Apple told me to take my phone, earphones and receipt in-store and Samsung just sent me out a new pair in the post, which arrived 2 days later: problem solved! Dealing with carrier stores Never had to go to a carrier store whatsoever. Having different prices and configurations for locked phones with carrier perks vs unlocked Apple doesn't have this in the UK, and Samsung doesn't have it in the UK either but I can't say for other markets. The build quality of most phones tend to fall short of Apple except for Samsung's premium lineup Agreed. Only Samsung's Galaxy S/N can compete with the build quality of an iPhone. Lack of true tone display S8 has the same 'night shift mode' as the iPhone 5(s)/6(s)/7(+) and whilst I've never used it, I reckon it's sufficient for its purpose. Lack of 3D Touch Agreed, although I've used the iPhone 6s and 7+ and can't say I found it useful but everyone has different experiences. Only form of 3D Touch on the Galaxy S8/N8/S9/N9 is the home button. Louder stereo speakers Eh, I personally use headphones most of the time and even when I'm not, I find my S8 speakers are perfect for my usage.
