Nah, actually that's not all quite accurate: the accessory banned was a separately-available bump stock "convertor" almost that would allow conversion of a semi-automatic gun into a fully-automatic one.

anyone who knows anything about guns knows that that converter doesnt actually do that, not in the way they claim it does it. it only lessens the recoil time and makes the "kick" less apparent so that the person firing the gun can recover from firing it at a quicker rate.
