It's still a money grab regardless. They removed the headphone jack because they didn't get royalties from 0.3mm. So they restrict it to lightning jack. Also how do you explain the $2000 stand? $5000 computer, granted since it has an absurd amount of ram (although if not utilized correctly, it has no point, it's either a hit or miss.) And the macbooks, they have lesser and lesser ports than before, lowering their efficiency, they did the same with the iPhones, lowering it's efficiency so people are convinced to buy more (i have not experienced this myself but my phone does tend to randomly shutdown on 5-10%. Not to mention the cost of an iPhone and macbook is roughly the same.

tl:dr - apple is overpriced for what they offer, you may call me some sort of "android sheep", but that's not true, I'm open to accept any good piece of technology e.g. iPhone 6
The stand is not $2000, its $999 but I agree it is ridiculous. The Pro Display XDR however overpriced is actually fantastic, 6k, near infinite viewing angles 25x better off axis, infinite contrast, immense brightness of 1600 nits, Extreme Dynamic Range (superior to HDR) P3 color, true tone. However I still think it is about $1,000 overpriced and the stand is about $500 overpriced. I think it needs pro motion display, the stand should be included and the nano glass should come standard, with a full price of $4,999.
