Another year, another patch! The server has been quiet recently - but rest assured, there will be more to come later in the year when @LimeeFox is able to return to his duties.
As part of this update, we have updated the server to 1.21.11. Mojang has been pushing out updates simply too fast for us to keep up with, and undoubtedly this update will bring along new bugs. If you do find any, make sure to report them on the forums. We aren't utilising any new features added in recent updates yet, but we will certainly be looking into how we can integrate these - for example, the spear - into the next update.
With that aside, let's take a look at the patch notes!
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed heroes not working.
- Fixed animations being extremely slow.
- As a result of this, some animations are now too fast. Please contact a moderator or administrator when you find this is the case.
- Fixed passive melee effect applying when damaging yourself (i.e. through fall damage).
- This also severely broke the Ring-Wraith hero which would continuously apply wither to itself.
- Fixed team switch sign to Uruk-Hai on Grimslade Rohan lobby not working.
- Fixed parry ability not applying absorption.
- Fixed Edhellond Birch Square flag being recapturable.
- Fixed Goblins always being able to spawn at the final flag controlled by dwarves (Azanulbizar).
- Fixed the fields spawn flag wool on Minas Tirith Gondor lobby not highlighting.
- Fixed duplicated kit silhouttes on Minas Tirith Gondor lobby.
- The server has been updated to 1.21.11.
- You can now place dark oak and birch planks.
- The outline highlight on restock blocks has been changed.
- This is mainly due to Mojang removing what we previously used - it looks better than before though, in our opinion!
- Display text / outlines / etc. will no longer show an "eye direction" when hitboxes (F3 + B) are enabled.
- Grond no longer requires a player each on the pull ropes when the player count is below 10.
- Instead, it requires a single player on a single pull rope.
- Added an experimental change to the server list, whereby if the player count is below 4 it will display a ??? instead of the player count.
- We want to see how this will impact average player count.
