So, everyone says EW isn't the same (including me) people are leaving for the grey havens, noobs are everywhere.
But is there a reason to hate on noobs? When I'm online I try to be as helpful as possible answering questions, but I never really knew why. But after alot of thought I found out: I see myself in them.
Once I was a nooby pvper, couldn't speak english, always accused people of hacks. When we se players like that, we need to be helpful, not spiteful. I never got any help, but I figured out that the most important thing was to help the team at any cost. So I became the most suicidal Soldier. I also repaired as many gates as I could. I had a great time, especially when I played with my friends. They couldn't speak english either, but they joined before me, and explained to me. I wondered how they figured out. One of them (tori1996) actually got banned for aimbot. I began laughing thinking he tricked me. But it was true. I thought Wow. He didn't even know how to download maps or resource packs. Well we began talking about that we were so skilled the staff thought we were hackers. A while after this, I found the forums while reporting someone, I joined and since I've played here, becomming an experienced player and decent pvper.
So instead of leaving because of noobs, we need to help them. Get them on the forums! And why are we calling them noobs, it's pretty sad to be called a noob. They are new players. Not noobs. And to show that EW is an amazing place we need to help these new players.
What we could do, is answer questions. Every little thing helps. We could also make friends with them and get them on the forums. And Tim could add Tips that came up in your chat every 7 mins. You can turn of the tips.
I hope this will help the EW community grow.
