Previously I had suggested a nerf to soldier because it could counter most classes, and was stronger than many point classes. some Voter classes are also stronger than point classes, which removes the incentive to earn points really. In an earlier thread tim had said
I disagree. Soldier is fine and perfectly balanced as it is. In fact, all other classes are balanced around this class, so if this class is too strong, it means we should actually be buffing the others because they're too weak.

Which is fine, I agree with that, except all of us have been repeatedly saying point classes need a buff along with some notable donor classes too. I will make a list, but soldier is arguably the strongest class (and if not the strongest, one of) in the game, and that seriously removes the incentive to play more. I want to play more.
Here are some tips, I have not added a poll because I first want some discourse on the ideas and more ideas stemmed off the ones I put here:
>Make spearman point
>Make uruk point
>give all point classes a decent buff such as a higher damage buff or something
>make it more clear what role each class fits with the according buff/nerfs i.e. edoras uruk chieftan whatever is tank, troll is tank, skirmisher is harasser/quick/light, any swordmaster is damage
>add a lot more variety of classes for point rather than just boring sword and occasional spear (donors get stuff like mage or medic, point variety, if done correctly, would not take away from that)
>add more windlass and other interesting map mechanics, like controllable catapult on old erebor
space for clarity
>fix glaring issues like osgilaith uruks having a swordmaster sharp 3 as a voter class, whilst ithilien soldier competing in damage as a point class.
>add a counter to morgul uruk on morgul called lossanarch axmen, maybe u heard of it xd no but srsly tho
>buff all horse classes (I saw that elsewhere too)
>somehow make archer more viable in combat
all in all, soldier is too strong of a class, point classes and some donor classes are too weak, I would love to see some more balance
