This is the first Empire War Newsletter. We'll be doing these monthly to cover all the changes that have occurred the past month and to keep people who don't check the website often informed about our recent changes.
We will also send these letters to all website members, so if you don't want to receive them because you left the server, you can leave the website and you will no longer receive them.

New Siege map: Erebor

zHXOLE0.png

It has been a long time since we've had a decent new Siege map, but after months of building, coding and planning we have finally finished it and added it to the Siege server.

This map contains:
- 21 flags
- 46 unique spawns
- 4 orc classes
- 5 dwarf classes
- 1 bashable gate with ram
- no flag order
- flags very close to eachother, less walking, more pvping

Build Days
The past month we've had a LMS and a Last Stand building day.
Both of those have had several winners, and it was a great success.
For more information check out the related posts.

Last Stand winners
LMS winners

New Voting system
We've also installed a new voting system.
Voting is now separated over 4 different websites, each with a different reward.
Vote link 1 votes on PMC for Voter Classes
Vote link 2 votes on MC Server List for a sharpness sword
Vote link 3 votes on MineStatus for enchanted boots
Vote link 4 votes on MC-Index for 50 free points (can be done once a day)

You can view all 4 links and which ones you voted on already at the current date by doing /vote in-game.

New LMS & LS maps
We've added 8 new maps over both LMS & LS. Both servers have gotten 4 new maps, most of those from the building contest.

Here is an overview with the 8 new maps. (Click for bigger image)

EULA Changes
Because of the new EULA Mojang made, we have decided to alter the server to no longer break those rules. This means all donator ranks are now non-gameplay affecting and many rewards are removed. We will try to do our best to replace those with cosmetic rewards, because those are still allowed, and we hope you won't be mad at us for making these changes.

More information

Middle-Earth Project
We have also released our Middle-Earth project on PlanetMinecraft, containing information about our plans for the server, as well as a fancy trailer with previews of the new maps.

You can view this project on PlanetMinecraft.

That's it for this news letter!
It's been a very progressive month, and we hope to be adding much more in the future months!
