Gondor or Rohan

Gondor and Rohan, two of the most powerful kingdoms of Middle-Earth. They are both strong and fearless. What would happen if both of these kingdoms went against each other and split there alliance between them. Who would triumph? Well now Empirewar must decide which is the better kingdom.Vote for whomever you think would win not by which one you like better.
This poll will last for the month of October and may the best kingdom win!
Also please comment why you think one kingdom would win, who knows maybe someone will take your opinion!

This all comes down to the side Gandalf takes (if he takes one) don't forget Aragorn would probably be Gondor, so sadly, although i like Rohan so much more, Gondor's umbers are far too msny

Gondor would win if it was in Minas Tirith, but if in Osgiliath they would lose.
If, it were only Gondor and Rohan, this would happen. Gondor would gather its forces (both kingdoms would have bigger armies since there is no mordor). If, it were in Minas Tirith.

3,000 Gondorian Soldiers at Minas Tirith + 500 (because there was no mordor) + 500 (because of Causeway Forts) + 1,200 (from Osgiliath) + 1,200 (because of Cair andros) + 1000 Ithilien rangers (from Ithilien) + 4,000 (from the south) + 3,000 (from all of the cities of the east and west in Gondor)


Rohan

6,000 Rohan Soldiers + 4,000 Rohhirim + 1,000 (Helm deep soldiers) + 100 (Peasants) + 300 (Helm deep soldiers) + 2,800 (Rohan soldiers from all over Rohan)

Gondor would win in Edoras or MInas Tirith. This may not be correct. Just estimation.

Edoras

Gondor fires it's catapaults destroying a chunk of Edoras. The rohan archers hurry to the wall shooting many gondorians, but not enough! Only 750 gondorians fell to the ground by the arrows, Gondor's archer's aim and shoot 800 Rohan archers down, only 250 remain! The battle continues for Edoras, Theodon sends out 2,500 Rohhirim Riders with Grimbold and Eomer, they stampede the Gondorians, 1000 Gondorians are killed. The gondorians ready their spears but are killed by the stampede of horses. Another 250 Gondorians are killed. 115 Rohhirm are killed. The gondor archers loosen their arrows, killing over 200 Rohhirim, the Gondorian's fire a catapault at the Rohhirim, killing 1000 of them; killing 400 Gondorians. 250 more rohan archers fire on the wall, but killing very few gondorians. The vast battle continues. 1,385 Rohhirm remain. Gondorian spear men throw spears but killing few Rohhirim. The archers of Gondor loosen poisonous arrows at the Rohhirim, killing 250; killing Grimbold. Eomer and 75 Rohhirim are angered, and charge bravely at the Gondorian Archers, the archers fire more arrows; killing only 7 rohhirim. Eomer and the few Rohan riders slayed the Gondor archers, Eomer shouts: "Are you patriotic?" and the Rohhirm shout "Yes", "If you are LOYAL to ROHAN CHARGE WITH ME!!!!!" he roars, hurting some of the coward's sensitive ears. All of the brave rohhirim charge with Eomer - Eomer felt a terrible pain and suddenly he fell off his horse - wounded, and several horses hit his body. Eomer died in a peaceful death. Meanwhile, The gondorians trebuchets were loading more gigantic rocks. "Shoot 'em, Kill 'em, murder 'em, JUST FOR THOR'S SAKE KILL DEM!" screamed the captain at the rohan archers. The rohan archers loosened their arrows only shooting less then 10, when there was several hundred of them. Pathetic really. "YOU DAM MEN ARE THE WORST! CAN YOU EVEN SEE - the captain was shot. Blood hardly dripping, it happened so fast that only a handful saw him die. There was several murmurs. Then, they started to firing, again.

The Gondorians archers were shooting at the surviving Rohhirm, killing only yet another 27, as they killed 34 when they were escaping while Eomer led brave men. "Load et up" grunted the Chief. Aim. "But sir - it takes a while to load up the trebuchet - "I DON'T CARE! Besides it only takes 1 minute, you lousy idiot".The trebuchets fired. Destroying n'other chunk of the city.

"Pull retreat, Pull retreat! You will stand you're ground" Shouted the rohan commanders, As the last hundred rohhirim came through the gate. They closed the gate. "Rohhirim guard the city; prepare to charge out again, EVERYONE OUT! I only want 300 Spearmen and pikeman here; 150 riders and 500 Soldiers! Rest of you flee! Well, not flee just GO! roared the Highest commander there. "Sir" said a soldier panting heavily, coughing and barely managing to breath. "Grimbold and Eomer are dead" then stayed silent. The commander turned away, it was his duty to tell Theodon, and his only. He would feel even more remorse Theodon of course, been betrayed by their allies, their city being destroyed, and now his son?

Over 500 Rohan civilians

Gondor:
2,666 Gondor Soldiers, Archers, riders, spearmen etc.

Most of the casualties are mentioned but not all.

It took around 30 mins, but I rushed da last paragraph, so expect a few mistakes.
I even made a thread and Part II, :3.

BTW why do I have only 3 Likes? I should have 5, or 6.
 
After some reconsideration, I believe it would be a stalemate. If Gondor attacks Edoras, which is surrounded with plains, the Rohirrim would be THE pain in the ass, as they can shoot from horseback and quickly ride away when soldiers get close. Meanwhile, they wouldn't have nearly the same mobility in one of Gondors cities.
