How do I get into the gameplay?

I guess this is a very stupid Question.

Byt I have been hitting heads in the LOTR server now for 1h trying to join one of teh teams. It only states that I have no permission to enter.

Is this normal?

I have registered on this page and voted to get 20p.

Any suggestions to a stupid fellow minecraft player...

Just right click the [Team] signs.
