I have decided that i will write different things about different kingdoms of Middle-Earth

Today i will write about Gondor

Cities

Minas Tirith
Minas Tirith is the capital of Gondor in the Third Age. It was the home of Steward Denethor II. They are most prided for The White Tree, which is a small dying tree. It used to flourish and in the First Age there were huge forests of them. After Osgiliath was lost Minas Tirith was named the new capital. Minas Tirith means "Tower of the Guard" but used to be called Minas Anor "The Tower of the Setting Sun" in correspondence with Minas Ithil "The Tower of the Rising Moon" (it was renamed Minas Morgul "Tower of Sorcery"). An amazing aspect of the city is that it has multiple layers. Despite the common thought there are 7 layers of the White City. 6 Gates and the amazingly defended Citadel right before the White Tree. Another important aspect of the city is the First Gate otherwise known as The Great Gate. It was wrought of Iron and Stone by the ancient Duendain people. In the Fourth Age Gimli's people who had settled in the Hornburg's glittering caves remade it of Mithril and Steel. Also (this is a suggestion for Tim) Stables were at the SIXTH GATE for men to use horses. Also the Citadel gate is right before the White Tree and is the second hardest to breach gate. Guards of the Citadel would defend this gate. The Rammas Echor was a large Wall built around Pelennor Fields. It was deigned to keep farmlands safe and was a first defense for Minas Tirith. As for now this is all that will be said of this city.

Anfalas
Anfalas is part of the Fiefdom Anfalas. It is ruled by Golasgil. They were mostly hunters and Herdmen but were known to defend the borders of Gondor. It is the Southern most Fief.

Pinnath Gelin
Pinnath Gelin is part of Anfalas. Hiriluin the Fair, whom i believe is son of Gosgail controls it. They live in the Green-Fields and live very far South, close to Pelargir. The Soldiers were Green Armour and are generally Horsemen.

Blackroot Vale
The Blackroot Vale is part of the Fief Lameadon. Duinhir the Tall is the leader. They have some of the best organized archer men (i am excluding Faramir's Ithilien Rangers). Not much is known about them except for being present during the Siege of Gondor March 13-18 Third Age.

Lamedon
Lamedon is part of Anfalas. Nope it is part of Lamedon. Angabor the fearless is the lord of this land. Calembel is considered to be the main part of Lamedon. They commonly fought the Corsairs and Haradrim and before the siege of Gondor their lord was slain by the Corsair Invasion. They did not do much in the Third Age except a few and i quote "Grim faced men without a captain..." as described in Return of the King while enter Minas Tirith.

Dol Amroth
Dol Amroth is one of the most powerful Fiefs of Gondor. They have powerful knights that dominate the Battle-Field. Imrahil of Dol Amroth is their leader and was part of The Siege of Gondor. In the Fourth Age Imrahil was a counseller to King Aragorn Elessair II. Dol Amroth was built on the side of a cliff on the Anduin River. That made assault from the sea nearly impossible. Due to a little known battle tactic the Corasirs put huge ladders from their boats up onto the Sea-Side walls. The people of Dol Amroth were present at every battle of The Siege of Gondor.

Pelargir
This city is infamous. You see it when the army of the dead come with Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli to Minas Tirith. So some of you read this going "What the heck is that?" well, guess what you knew. They supplied decent soldiers for warfare and they were quite strong. Pelagir is a large city with a small triangle in the middle that has a large tower in the middle. Then the outside triangle is the area where the people live. This is all i will do for now.

Is this gonna be another one of those posts that x1936 spends ages writing and nobody posts on?
Anyway I like it

I don't think the translations of minas anor and minas ithil are correct, ithil is just the moon while anor is just sun. Osgiliath was the dome of the stars. Minas tirith became the capital after Minas Ithil fell, I do believe, not osgiliath, though osgiliath remained the capital of the arts etc, just not home of the king.
Otherwise seems good

Osgiliath was the Capital of Gondor, once it fell Minas Tirith became the capital. Minas Ithil was built to keep Sauron inside Mordor.

I believe that was meant to be somewhat unkind. If it was literal thank you but i don't think it was...
