In the Isenguard map after the flood, ents would have to climb up the mountain. Up the mountain there is a platform where all the archers would spawn and shoot them. Ents would go up and kill them. Is this spawnkilling? Whenever somebody does that everyone screams spawnkill

Is this spawnkilling? Too me it seems logical. It would not make sense if I had to climb a big mountain and could not be allowed to kill the enemy that was attacking me the whole time.

Archers camp inside their spawn because they feel 100% immune there and when they die because of a rock, ent knockback OR ANYTHING they scream spawn killer. Your suppose to run out and fight the ents not hide inside your spawn

I think it's just fine to kill the archers who camp in their spawn, but don't try to stick around too much.


If you really want the answer from the staff, your best chance is to contact the mighty Tibbles (Aka Sjoerdtim) himself. He is the most active.

I'd say, if the archers are firing at the ents first, then they should be able to kill them, but, if say, the ent goes in unprovoked, then I would say it's spawn kill, if the ents are just walking through it then I think they can kill them too.

After the dam breaks, Uruk spawn at Orthanc, not the dam, so it is no longer spawnkilling to kill the players on the dam/towers.

I believe he wanted to say "before the flood".

But yeah, isengard is all about spawnkill. I suggest we remove the spawnkilling rule on that map, since everybody does it anyway. It will at least free the chat from those useless "SPAWNKILLRRRR!!!!!1ONELEVEN" messages
