"Demons", a lost journal by Dekkin Scye.
Chapter I
"The Demon Portal"
Today in Cair Andros, I found a note. This note was written by a man who's village was destroyed my demons(zombie pigmen), and the book ended due to his death. Nearly RIGHT after I showed everyone the book, demons attacked Cair Andros, our capital! We fought them off for as long as we could and discovered the place that were appearing at.
It was an old fort of ours and whenever lightning struck, pigmen appear. We retreated to the inside as they were overwhelming us. A portal appear out of nowhere! Demons and flying demons shooting fireballs swarmed us. The fort was on fire so we got out of it and ran back to cair Andros. When we arrived, there were hundreds of orcs(zombies) at the city!
We ran as fast as we could past the orcs into the main keep and held them off until Ithilien arrived to help. The orcs and demons blew threw the keep and we ran out of cair Andros to an abandoned fort, trying to get to Brist. We rested there and ran to a dwarven town called Khazad-dum. We were leaving across the bridge to Brist, but when I was walking across it, it blew up!
I was stranded in the water and we were separated. I headed back to Cair Andros and found Skarenar there. We waited and some Ithilien soldiers and Blackfyre arrived and we went back to the fort where the portal opened up. It was closed. We fought off orcs and demons and we saw a new sign on the portal. It said "The door will re open". We defended the fort, waiting for the door to open again and increasing our defenses of the fort.
Chapter II
"The Mine"
After waiting for a couple of days, the portal didn't re open. We headed back to Cair Andros, and swarms of all types of demons attacked us! Ghasts, Blaze, Slimes, Giants, Orcs, you name it! We were attacked several times but we managed to hold them off. Lucolas had made a mine soon after and lines it with netherack, but a bit later, hundreds of orcs and spiders rushed out and attacked! We fought them back to where I could manage to fill the mine with many rocks. I can still hear spiders hissing but I just ignore it.
Maybe a day or two later, as I was walking near the tents, I started to stop breathing and I blcked out. Apparently, a demon lord had possessed me and they put me in a cage. Yanar and King Thalin of the Dwarves knew the cure and I woke up very dizzy. I asked many questions but most weren't answered so I just went back to tents and grabbed a helmet like I was going to before.
While I was walking around Cair Andros, I was smacked in the head with a sword! I looked up and members of RedDagger and Ithilien were attacking! They stole our horses and other things and rode off! I was going to chase after them but I knew I would die. King Thalin and I later went to Forlond to speak with them. When we arrived, Tywin II of Blackfyre was imprisoned! They released him and we asked about their men attacking us. While we were speaking hundreds of demons came including a flying 3-headed one! Man men died and when we finally thought it was over, A dragon attacked! A dragon! That's impossible! I guess not. It nearly killed us all but we managed to kill it. We left Forlond and went back to Cair Andros when the battle was over.
There was no more I could find.
