Add/readd background catapults on tirith. They should not only be from orcs, but also the city catapults (throwing white pieces of rock like in the movie)

Will consider this, but there's also a lot of hate on the Osgiliath and Edoras catapults, so I'm not sure yet.

I think it is much easier to make them hit in places where noone of the team players walks past on tirith than on edoras for example.

I haven't heard alot of people wanting them removed for that, since the odds of that happening are so small.

I agree that it probably won't be a big problem if we just make them fire at places nearly no one goes to.
