My Roman Build

Here is a build of mine. View it and drop some suggestions in on me in this thread.

Try to make it more realistic, follow building plans from the object that you want to make. I've no real idea what it is.

Also I think you dragged the video out a bit,no need for that long a video, for smaller builds don't make it longer than 1-2 mins

Well, my elf and Irish King skin didn't really work here bud... :P

I was referring to the long held rule that one, who is on Romecraft related servers, is not to use a skin designed by Stugace for his own personal use. The skin your using is his personal one along with a few select others. I'd advise you to change it, or personalize it beyond recognition.

Concerning the build, might I suggest visiting Roman themed servers and learn from their builds. I don't think this is up to the standard I'm afraid. I couldn't exactly tell, but was that marble and brick? Together? Brick is typically only used for a roof with that texture pack as bricks for walls or flooring just doesn't work visually. (Despite the nagging question of accuracy, I know.) Also, I might suggest working on that temple? a bit more.

Also, if you're looking for a nice path, try using stonebrick/stone/cobblestone/gravel variations instead of brick and quartz, because as Prom mentioned, brick is used for roofs, while Quartz is often used for statues and pillars. (Can be used differently though)

And for a carpet, for which you used full brown, search for a good pattern, with different colour combinations.

But on a side question: Why did you choosed for it to show this build to us? I don't mind, but wouldn't showing it on the forums of *Roman server censored here* be better? (But again, I don't mind seeing Roman builds :3)
