These are my strategies for different maps. Note that I may only post strategies from one side due to not often playing the other side or the strategy for the other side being too OP. These strategies will be short and quite cryptic as I dont want to give too much away. Treat them more like a reference instead of a guide, it is not certainly completely reliable. I may write a guide in the future but as said above this is not a guide.
Isengard:
Uruks: While below Isengard, try killing as many ents as possible by teaming up on them. An ent is more vulnerable against a group of uruk hai than a single uruk hai. Engage lone ents. While on the dam, try to take the mountain before the ents do and hold it. Use your archers to hold the ents back, while soldiers defend the archers. You also want a small elite force to operate below the dam to kill any ent that comes close.
Minas Morgul:
Gondor: Try getting a few guys and use an alternative route to get to the main gate, preferably with donators to unite when close. This would catch the mordor off guard when you arrive at an unexpected direction. Mages are extremely useful on such a mission. If they discover what you are doing, keep doing it and then when they position most of their forces there attack either from the gate or in another unexpected direction. For main square, get a mage to mage jump on the statues and cap there, then they could only be harmed by ranged attacks. The rest of the gondorians should be protecting hte cappers by forcing them to engage combat instead on focusing on the mages. As for the tower, you would want a few mages to again mage jump on the obsidian crown they can provide covering fire.
Moria Gold:
Goblins: Elite archers to take out any crossbowmen, attack both golds at once. The goldkeeper must have bodyguards and the goblin spawn must be protected to prevent any dwarves from lurking around hte gold keeping area.
Dwarves: While you should defend the gold, you should aim for killing goblins without compromising hte gold. Goblins will run out of lives before you do. Also get dwarves to aim at the gold deposition area, the goblins must deposit their gold there so its a useful bottleneck for a last minute ambush.
Moria Halls:
Goblins: Just keep rushing, have multiple people capture at the same time. On the other hand some goblins should keep attacking past the flag to kill off any possible threats, basically forcing the enemy to deal with them instead of the flag cappers. While this seems like common sense I hardly observe it in matches.
Dwarves: Exact same strategy. Offense is the best defense, so you should aim for recapping flags and force the goblins to be too busy defending their flags from capping yours.
Helms deep:
Rohirrim: Conserve lives, try to kill via ranged attacks instead of melee fighting. Your priority is the villagers, abandon the outer flags if necessary to save lives. Remember rohan can only lose when all of them are dead.
Uruks: Try to take control of the wall or blow it up instead of focusing your attack on main gate, it allows you to attack both flags and perhaps kill some villagers. The wall is more important than the keep. Try making the rohirrim bleed instead of focusing on flags.
Minas Tirith:
Gondor: Save lives without compromising your ability to defend hte flag. On several levels (3, 4, 5 and tree) get several good archers and mages to a spot which is safe yet ables you to shoot at the flag. When the mordor are capping, just unleash hell on them since they have to stay in that area. The other gondorians should be focused on killing any mordor shooting back at that group. You can move up to a higher level to do the sniping. Your best bet is gate 3. Try staying in relatively inclosed spaces which nazgul cant fly into (if they fly into spaces too small screenshot and report) to prevent mordor paratroopers. Note that this is about the only strategy that I have observed to work after the addition of hte naz taxi.
