NoSwear plugin

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could add back the NoSwear plugin. My friend's parents won't let him play if there are a bunch of people swearing in chat. He really likes this server and wants to play on it so could you please add NoSwear?
 
You can disable the chat via Chat Settings and changing the Chat option to hidden or commands only.

NoSwear would interfere with our current chat system. We once had our own system for this, but it lagged.
Officially, actual swearing isn't allowed on the server, so it shouldn't be a big problem.

Keep in mind that I don't see things like "ah fuck" when stuff goes wrong as real swearing. Stuff that I'd actually find swearing is things like swearing towards people ("you are a cunt!", "you dick!", etc), or actual really bad language ("go fuck yourself", "suck it", "i suck your mom", etc). Another type of swearing that's really bad and not allowed is swearing with diseases ("get aids lol", "cancer", "I hope you fucking die", etc).
 
Why swearing is so bad? As long as a player doesnt swear towards somebody, i don't see anything bad about saying stuff like "ah shit" or "f4ck lag" or stuff like this.
 
I'm fine with searing as long as it's not toward me. But the problem is that people are swearing at others and even if it's toward another player I don't like it. Plus some parents don't want their kids seeing all that.
 
So, sjoerdtim, if someone is swearing at another player then they are breaking the rules. Is that what you're saying?

It's technically breaking rule 1, 2, and 3, so: yes, definitely.

Yes. You were never allowed to.
 
But what about words like noon, autistic and weeb
Which might be used as course words but they might be true for some people.
 
Look, I don't have a problem with swearing, what I don't want to happen is my friend gets told he can't play because his mom doesn't want him getting exposed to words like the ones used in chat.

I cannot promise no one will swear, but if they do in a way that breaks our rules, we will punish them if we're aware.
