Constructor doesn't have a way to earn points that would go towards mvp. It's weak in pvp, so that's not a way, and when it's defending a flag, the goal is usually to not let the enemy touch the flag, so no points for recapturing either.

Maybe collecting resources for the team could also earn points instead of just silver. Points could also be awarded for building the pre-determined buidables like the ram.
These changes might not be enough on their own, but they would be a step in the right direction for acknowledging the constructor's contribution to the game.
 
I believe you mean score. Yes if it's not the case then it's an overlook on our side, submitting materials to team inventory is supposed to contribute to your score. Will get it sorted for 3.3.3 (y)
 
It could also have a category in mvp stats.
