I'm put at a loss of words... If
It makes you feel better; my llama just got killed by wolves...
 
It could be an environmental issue with your tank... make sure that there arent any minerals in there that there shouldnt be: aka salt (if they're freshwater and vice versa), chlorine, etc. make sure that the pH is as close to 7 as possible. Fish are really sensitive to changes in pH.
