Ranged classes limit

I like playing ranged classes, and i think all of them are nicely balanced right now, any buffs or nerfs would only make them bad, or too good. I am open to any suggestions too.

Someone could say, that limiting classes, especially free class is a bad idea. And I 100% agree with that. But, i think NOT limiting ranged classes is just worse. Let me explain why.

1. Ranged classes are one of the most annoying classes for opponent. Why? Mainly bcs you cant do anything to stop the arrow from hiting you. You can only have hope that enemy archer will miss his shots. In some situations, many archers can start shoting one guy at once, not giving him any opportunity to stay alive. Is limiting ranged classes going to solve these issues? Ofc no, but it will make these problems less frequent.

2. Balance problems! Almost on every map, and almost in any case, too many ranged classes on attackers team is insta lose. Not only they are annoying for melee opponents, but also they make their team lose a game. Too many archers on defending team can also lead to stall the game, and usually attackers will ragequit or play archers too, making it unplayable for any melee class.

Now, some people may say that if archer main cant play his class, he will leave the server. Yes, there can be situation like that. But, most of the time player will be able to pick ranged class, or he will just play other classes. I think way more people can leave the server bcs of arrow spam / bad balance due to too many ranged classes on one team.

Note, that often people play mainly melee classes, so its not that drastic change. This is mainly to prevent situations that are remembered as unpleasant events, I think everyone remembers how a dozen or so archers destroyed the game on moria, for example. Or, when there are 3 vs 3 and all opponents go archers and u want to go melee, its not possible to play.

What if some players leave the server during a game and there are too many bow users? I think the only way to prevent that is to give a player 20 - 30 - ?? points for changing class.

Now, There are infinite ways to implement it, I'll just suggest a few:

1111. Limiting every ranged class, including donor classes.
people in a team: 1-4 ranged class: 1
people in a team: 5-8 ranged class: 2
people in a team: 9-13 ranged class: 3
people in a team: 14-18 ranged class: 4

people in a team: 1-3 ranged class: 1
people in a team: 4-6 ranged class: 2
people in a team: 7-11 ranged class: 3
people in a team: 12-16 ranged class: 4

people in a team: 1-6 ranged class: 2
people in a team: 7-11 ranged class: 3
people in a team: 12-16 ranged class: 4

2222. Limiting only archer class. Depending on a map, if there are no ranged point classes / diamond donor ranged classes:
people in a team: 1-3 archers: 1
people in a team: 4-6 archers: 2
people in a team: 7-11 archers: 3
people in a team: 12-16 archers: 4

If there are point ranged classes / diamond donor ranged classes
people in a team: 1-5 archers: 1
people in a team: 6-10 archers: 2
people in a team: 11-18 archers: 3

3333. Limiting archer and point classes, if there are any on the map.

4444. Limiting all classes, but there are bonus slots for donator ranged classes:

people in a team: 1-4 ranged class: 1 Bonus slot for donor: 1
people in a team: 5-8 ranged class: 2 Bonus slot for donor: 1
people in a team: 9-13 ranged class: 3 Bonus slot for donor: 2
people in a team: 14-18 ranged class: 4 Bonus slot for donor: 2

5555. Limiting all classes, but bonus slot is for both donor and point classes.
 
I'm a melee player myself and I hate ranged classes. That said I don't think limiting the ranged classes is a good idea. It would be better to nerf the bow by making the draw slower for example.

All bow classes are balanced and dont need any nerfs.

So archers are too bad in pushing flags --> they need to be limited for better balance.
Are you saying that: Archers are bad ---> We need to limit them - Its a nerf? I am so confused.
