Regarding donating

All right, I'll put it bluntly. This server will die if folks like you and I do not give it money. It could be a few euros, it could be a lot of euros! Anything will help the server a lot!

What donating can do:
  • The server relies on donations to stay alive. Know that you helped a great server live on with your few euros.
  • Get the praise and thanks of everyone on the server! I bought VIP on Friday, and I still have people congratulating me!
  • Get the cosmetic benefits that are here now, and much more will be out later!
  • If you donate now, you donate to support the release of Edoras! That would spice up the game! We're almost 1/3 of the way there, but we haven't seen a penny in days! Even 1 euro will help release it!

Now, a lot of people don't want to donate because "EULA makes me not get rewards!" Boo hoo, pay-to-win was flat out injustice anyway. Be glad that it's rid of. Instead, donate knowing that it funds server projects, and overall keeps it running! Last month, Tim lost money on the server! If this continues, this great server will be torn down, and all of it's members evicted. Even though you don't get gameplay-affecting changes, why should you?

How to donate, you ask? Simply sign in to the forums, click "store" at the top, and hit either "Donations" or "Ranks". Hitting "Donations", and donating that way, will let you donate any amount of money, but will get you absolutely no rewards, not even cosmetic. Hitting "Ranks", however, will allow you to purchase "VIP" for 10 euros, "PRO" for 25, or "ELITE" for 50. All of the rewards are cosmetic and fully in accordance with the EULA. "VIP" gives the ability to spectate, use jump pads, and launch broken fireworks (soon to be fixed)! "PRO" gives all that VIP has, along with more things in spectating (maybe more things, but I don't really know what else). "ELITE" gives all that PRO has, but with maximum spectating selection, and the ability to join full teams!

Payments can be done with PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and the Discover Network card. All payments are secure (as far as I know), and are completely valid. All of the money you donate will go to EmpireWar.

These glorious servers cost a lot, and they can't be run without your help! The servers themselves cost 175 euros a month to run, and the website takes 25 a month! A lot of money is also spent on things like DDOS protection and advertising.

Donating is happening less and less frequently, and it's up to us to stop the server from dying! Donate today! Have your own PayPal or credit card? Spare a euro or two! If not, ask your parents! Tell them that your favorite server is dying and needs money! Do what you can to secure a few euros.

Already donated, but a while back? Why not again? Icecream, a role model for donators, and top donator, donates 20 euros a month! If you got VIP a while ago, if you can, get PRO! If you got PRO a while ago, if you can, get ELITE! If you got ELITE a while ago, why not donate a few more euros, knowing that it helps keep this server alive?

VIP and Pro are 99% Identical. All you really get from donating is a "Thank You" and contributing to Edoras

More rewards are coming, I'm sure. Is a "Thank You" not enough? Pay-to-win is injustice, and I am glad that it is rid of. Be glad that you supported the server in a dark hour. People shouldn't be able to buy the advantage. They should be able to earn them. You do a lot of complaining about the EULA, once telling Tim to flat-out disregard it, but I say that if all you can do about something is complain about it, then it was simply not meant to be changed.
 
Well, that sucks. All the pre-eula donators who "need" rewards, shame on you. You should be donating for kindness, not for power. And, for God's sake, stop complaining. Did whining ever get you things in life? It shouldn't have, and defiantly won't now.
 
Despite the inherent goodness of donating, it is good to have some rewards, and I think that donors and staff/tibbles need to work together to set up some cool EULA friendly perks.

Agreed. We've been working on adding more EULA friendly perks ever since we removed classes and since then we've added a lot of things like firework and spectator mode. We are still working on adding more.

Not exactly 99%, PRO => ELITE adds you being able to join full teams which is a huge reward, as well as night vision and speed toggleing during spectator mode. And of course map voting.
VIP => PRO gives you spectator visibility toggleing.

You need to get past PRO to get to ELITE, so you can see PRO as a step to ELITE.
