Is Thorin's Halls in the default map rotation, or does it need to be initiated by staff?
 
idk if i can report bugs regarding it, but on Dale, you can brace 3rd flag without waiting for the battle to get there
 
I have a problem with Longbeard being literally buffed soldier. It shouldn't have the sharpness on it's weapon to balance it out.

Of course you can. I think Tim/Steal would prefer if you reported it in the Bug section like any other case though. So they have all problems gathered on one place. It becomes a good checklist.

Yes, a tank class that isn't held back by slowness. A speedy tank that can take a few hits from archers with its projectile protection 1. I would rather fairness than pay to win.
 
I have yet to see how OP it actually is (I haven't been on in a while) and i did actually advice Tim to remove the sharpness.

The class is supposed to be more armor and less damage than soldier. The update literally released a day ago and you’re already acting like we’re making super pay to win classes. Give us time to balance it out, and if damage is indeed same as soldier, that’s a mistake, not intentional.
 
The main point in this (that I don't think I've made very clear, my bad) is that Longbeard makes Soldier a redundant class. Troll at least has it's own unique play style (and is f2p) while Longbeard is simply soldier class but stronger in every aspect (resistance 1, projectile protection 1, 0.5 extra damage).

If the classes are based around the standard soldier class with pluses and minuses to them (Spearman: +spear -armour, Beserker: +strength -all armour, Hammerer: +armour, knockback -damage, speed), Longbeard breaks that cycle and might lead to a power creep with additional classes. I've already noticed that Royal Guard is the exact same as the Rohan Warrior on Edoras but with a spear.

And Tim does make a good point, I'm probably getting way too flustered over this as it was only released the other day and many things will change but that's just what I do. :P
 
I believe pikmin is right, while all the other paid class have their own asspect and flaws (ranger is a close range Archer, mage is mage, helb is tank and berserker is an assassin) and because all of them have a clear counter class and tactic (berserker is weak to projectiles, cornered mage is a dead mage, helb needs a little bow spam or just a push to the nearest hole), longbeard is a soldier, the second strongest melee class in the game but with buffs. This makes him into a death machine and an actual p2w item. While all the other donor classes fit into 1 role and have limited efficiency (berserker is bad at the stairs and bridge of moria, ranger is bad for attacking minas tirith where the archers can pin em down and beat em and helb is simply not good against any type of fast/ranged class) a soldier is the back bone of the army and can fit almost perfectly into 99% of the situation (and therefore longbeard as well).

If you ask me you need to lower his armour into spearman level and buff his projectile protection and make him into an Archer counter
 
I would prefer if it was a mild tank class with no movement hindrance. We don't have a single one of those on the server.
 
Post updated with quick balance fixes!

We read your feedback and after testing this update for a couple days, we decided to do some quick hotfixes for balancing issues currently around. More balancing will follow the coming weeks.

- Updated Rhun Warlord chestplate from Protection 2 to Protection 1
- Removed Sharpness 1 from Longbeard mace
- Nerfed Throwing Axe damage from 4.5 to 4.1
- Nerfed Throwing Knife damage from 4.5 to 4.1
- Nerfed Corsair Captain leggings (chain to leather)
- Buffed Corsiar Captain boots (leather to chain)
