If you are interested in playing a role in the community such as that of a normal day Soldier/Orc ranging all the way to a High-Chain Commander then just believe in yourself and try and fit into the role. If you are swift in making tactical decisions then you could live up to being a Lieutenant but if your more to yourself then a assassin to find and kill a player for the right price might suit you better.

I myself started as just a ordinary soldier then quickly escalated to my new role as a Commander among many comrades. As my decisions influenced the march and charge of my team (usually Rohan, Gondor or the Dwarfs) the games seemed to sway in my favor and many players have grown to support me, them also becoming higher in ranking such a Lieutenants.

You can be whatever you want to be but if people give you bad support you should consider something else as a role. Note: remember not to spam and use CAPS too much.

Uh, Oh.
This is a thread trying to turn the chat into a rp mess.
Please don't do this, it fills the chat with unnecessary comments, and gets very annoying.

It's online, when people say they're the captain and stuff. I just make myself king every time.

The only time this works is when you have a group of friends on, and within that group you elect leaders and such. Usually only vets and other experienced players do this. Kinda like forming Gundasquads on Erebor. Few people will inform the rest of their team where they are going, and making decisions on where to go next. The smaller the group, the easier it is to do. The reason this works so well with Erebor, is because the noobs stick with larger groups as not to get lost. Try sneaking up the side on Minas Tirith, and nobody will listen to you.

Actually I have led armies in many maps including Edoras, Helms and mostly the Black Gate. And many people listen. The way you have to get them to listen is by forming a small team like you said Ajroets then when more people join and look up to you to lead that is when you can call upon your entire army. I have literally had 19 people out of 26 under my command charging into Morgoth's Tent (a capture point in Black Gate) other VIP's such as Riko and Slime have also follow me and can vouch upon this.

araksptec you have to earn the trust of the players before you can announce your rule. You cannot just go "I'm always leader" because they will not listen or cooperate with you.

Yeah, all of Gondor was following him. He even made me captain (but no one followed my instructions)

If you want to RP on Empire war server/forums. Then there is legit a section for this in the forums. >_>
Like this is the Internet, it is pretty hard to coordinate stuff, So, as Ajroets said, Sometimes people listen
just to survive, or they just call you a lunatic when you try to lead the team.. If you want to RP, go to the RP
section in the forums. That's where tibbles has confined the RP to..
