RPG
I have worked hard the past week to bring out the first BETA of our RPG.
This server is hosted as a replacement to Arcade (as we couldn't afford both, and Arcade was barely used) and can be accessed using rpg.empirewar.org.
We are trying to expand this as much as possible to the official release, and to keep it entertaining, while also keeping our eye out on the other servers.
Game of Thrones Siege
Some may have noticed our growing interest in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series (better known as the TV Series Game of Thrones).
Our original mind was always to keep our focus mainly on Middle-Earth and J.R.R. Tolkien's books, but after all widening our audience and gameplay possibilities can only be benefitial.
This is why we are working on a second Siege server, which is currently only being tested as event a couple times a week, hoping to eventually finish it and have it become as succesful as our current Siege.
We understand this would deeply devide our playerbase over the multiple server, and this is why we are waiting with it's official 24/7 release until we have a playerbase to support both servers.
Lord of the Rings Siege
While we are focussing on many new projects, our old and main server is all but forgotten. We are still working on improving it, though it may not go as fast as normally, and we will aim to keep it as our main server for as long as possible.
Today I finished adding the VIP Lobbies. Those will bring a lot of extra enjoyment to VIPs who are just staying in the lobbies. There is a King of the Ladder game, a pub and a large extra parkour challenge.
While our expenses and earnings have been near equal the past months, we still heavily need our VIPs, because please keep in mind I am spending an extreme amount of time on these servers, and without money we cannot expand it further.
We'll also look into adding some kind of purchasable boost for RPG and GoT Siege, as both make progress towards public release.
TL;DR - We're working on two new servers, arcade's gone, but we won't forget or drop our original LOTR Siege. Donations are still highly needed, and we are working on more rewards, such as the new VIP Lobby!
