I have looked through one and another ban appeal on this forum. They got a nice format and contains the necessary information that staff need to know to be able to deal with an appeal properly. However, I have one useful advice for you. Enjin offers a feature where you can tag other users. I couldn't find any indications that this is being used here yet. When you do this, the user will receive a notification that their name was mentioned in the thread. It works similar to how you are notified when you are quoted.
We use this feature a lot to quickly notify staff members when they are responsible to deal with an appeal. We also use this when we want some special person have a look at a thread without having to message or actively contact them in some other way.
Look at the following code below:
For example, type “@sjoerdtim” and see what happens. A menu will appear where you can select the user you wish to tag.
You can also type in the BB-code if you have the person’s Enjin ID-code:
You can receive the ID-code in the search bar when you look at someone’s profile.
Hope this can come to any use for and make your appeal system even more efficient!
