Hi there!
I am back with another/better map ;D
I created a map with an example of the spawnpoints. As you can see, the orcs will spawn behind the river.
They have to capture the bridge/the south gate first. After that, they can spread (Same idea of laketown, get through the gate and capture the city.) We will create a solid map, NOT a slaughter field :P.
With clear capture points, buildings, war scenery and roads, we can make this map great.
At this point I need your help!
Leave a comment with feedback about the map.
I hope you can give me some kind of shedule of classes. Just as inspiration.
Like this:
Army: Dark side:
Class 1:
-specification
-specification

Class 2:
-specification
-specification

etc.

I'm looking forward to see all your answers!

Greetings the_Jellster!

The image you made looks absolutely stunning. I'm still not sure about this map, because we prefer to keep our server of a siege nature, but I'll discuss it again with staff and see if we might be able to come up with something.

Don't get too excited, he said similar things about the push the cart mode

Of which we have a map build work in progress, a 3D cart model made, and a map plan already worked out.
Don't reply if you don't know the truth of what you're talking about.

Said that so I'll get a process report, none of the staff agreed to tell me what is going on :stuck_out_tongue:

You shouldn't do that. If we're not telling people, that's on purpose. You'll have to wait for your turn like anyone.

Guys, we need an Easterling class.
Fire thrower Easterlings
About the class: the nazgull king of the Easterlings used the fire of Mordor (can't remember the name) to create throwable fire pots.
Armour: the armour should be the same as spearman
Equipment: iron sword, 3 throwable fire pots and 10 cooked pork.
The throwable fire pots will work like torches but would less for longer.
Effects: slowness while holding the fire pots/ having any in the inventory.

Golden Easterlings
About: the golden Easterlings are the elite soldiers of rhun
Armour: full gold armour (maybe add projectile protection)
Equipment: 10 cooked pork, iron sword with sharpness 2.
Effects: speed 1 or 2.

Although its unlikely the map would play as a siege, the idea of a large scale better appeals to me. On the previous server, the map we had was far too big, and I couldn't possibly see a smaller version working well. Although I'm a huge fan of the idea, there seem to be many negatives such as it not playing as a siege, and the lack of changes in terrain result in lack of diversity in battles. I will certainly discuss this more with other players and staff members, but I believe it would require a lot of thinking to make it play more like a siege map.

Wait, since when did the Easterlings have fire pots?
