Yeah so, I've been talking a lot about the order of bards recently. Here are a couple important things about it. Comment here if I've told you you can join, and I'll add you to the list!
What is the order of bards?
The order of bards is an order, clearly, founded by me, beepbobit. Our goal is to decide, and write, the lore of the Empire War LOTR Server, as it relates to LOTR and Middle Earth.
What does the order do?
Some roles are: Writing historical stories about important events that happened on the server or off it, deciding who gets what title (As in, solving quarrels over "I'm King of this or that"), among other fun things
Is the Order Official?
Yes, as much as it can be. Our decisions are final. You can choose to go against them, but you'd be wrong.
What are the duties and perks of an order member, and how does one join?
An order member does not get any special classes or anything. I know, I just can't afford to donate for myself, let alone anyone who joins the order. However, an order member can decide histories of the server, including who is king of what and stuff like that, though all decisions must go through me, the head of the order, as well as my series of advisors. In order to keep your spot in the order, you must write stories about the server, or histories of characters who you have given titles to. These will go through me as well so I can check grammar, etc.
As a result of this, all order members must have an enjin account and must be my friend in order for us to communicate.
Is the order endorsed by any mods?
Not at the moment. But does that matter? It's not like we're doing anything wrong
Who are the current members?
Myself and my cofounder, the_minotaur. Also anyone who I have since now accepted into the order

Ummm...Your decisions arent final. We can believe to have anyone as King over a certain thing.
 
Thats true, but the Order of Bards represents the General Consensus of the server population on who the Kings are.
I guess you are not interested in joining then :l
 
i disagree with a few things. i write stories for a hobby not for everyday life because that takes up time and I only get to spend less then 10 mins on Battle of Edoras, so it isn't that good. There'll be huge arguments over who's king or not so it'd be a bit unfair. Like, maybe can request their history and you write it. Then, again we could choose our friends which would be unfair.

Actually, most people wouldn't even care who's King or not.... It's a good idea and everything - it's just I disagree with a hell lot of things. Like are you 100% sure, if we go against you, would we be wrong? Good chance, but not for certain. I absolutely don't like the MUST bit, we must write? So, your just the guy who sits on the chair and we mine the coal??

The lore, dos gise over der know the history of et, just go ask Timmey. If it's fiction lore - well grand..
 
I was joking about you always being wrong. At least in my opinion I'd be right. I love writing stories and making up who's king and stuff like that. I was just looking for more people who would want to do that as well. You know, a banner to unite under and such
 
Yes, MD would be correct, well played king of the Dwarves.
But in this case, I'm building off of the more Homer-type bard, writing epics and such.
Imagine a combo of the Minstrel and Loremaster classes, but without music or pets.
 
Ok, a lot of people have been backing out because of "commitment". There is no commitment. Only to write one or two stories to get in, and more if you like. And crowning people if you like. Now please, join if I invited you. Niterogue I mean you
 
I am not trying to undermine you I was just stating a simple fact. I will join this order of bards if I am invited but first to write something. My problem is I am only good at making up something entirely fictional xD
 
I checked it out but its just that: Lore
I'm looking for people to make up lore. Knowing lotr lore is a bonus, but you need to make something up for the server, like Nite did with his story. Very much lore based, but with an empire war swing
