town guard issue

town guard on laketown has issue - in order for pike to function like pike it must be in the left hand, and sharp goes on the pike, but when pike in left hand, his melee is hand/pork, therefore he must use pike as melee, but pike/hoe does very little damage and has only regular attack range in main hand
overall he feels ridiculously underpowered as a point class I paid 3k for

old town guard was stronger because pike function worked in main hand, but this is new EW and now it needs rework. give him iron sword or something.

However, the arrows that are shot out do barely any damage whatsoever. The same goes for all other pike classes for better or worse. Better in the case of the Orc class on Minas Morgul as it is used for spacing rather than a primary form of attack. Worse in the case of Town Guard and Phalanxier as they have no means of doing proper damage.

doesn't phalanx have some ehcantmetns on the shield? like kb or something?
