Uniting -How used right or wrong

Yeah, decided to make topic just because there are such many donators and also all don't seem to understand how it should be used. Well obviously the meaning is help your team either capt the flag, stop enemies or protect such a important person like bezerkers or gobling who is bringing gold.

Ideas for succesfull unites in the position of attacker

When using such a great power which immediately changes the formation of your allies it is a big deal if uniting is made tournally wrong. One of the main rules (imo) should be: never unite if at least two in you team is capturing. If there is even 2 person capping, it can mean that there are or there is coming more forces there. If you aren't seeing that there are only for instance just two mages capturing, don't unite. If there is even just one person capturing you shouldn't use unite if you aren't sure that person being capping is pretty much dieing. If you then use unite it should be in place which is as near as possible to the flag with no expectations. And if there is only less than 20 seconds before succesfull capture, never use unite

Obviously the nearer the flag you manage to do the unite the better. As the server is down now I can't show there nearest places for unites. However I list them here until I can take some screenshots.

Minas Tirith
Maingate
The nearest place to unite is in towers right and left side right next to the gate.

2nd gate
The nearest place to unite is on the bottom of the tower on the left side of the gate.

3rd gate
The nearest place to unite is in the stairs inside the wall

4th gate
The nearest place to unite is the flat in front of the gate.

5th gate
use waterfall ride side of the gate to climb up and unite on blocks next to the hole. Other possible place is on the flat outside of the gate.

white tree
Unite right next to the tree as it's possible.

Minas Morgul

maingate
The nearest place to unite(to the flag) are the last stairs right and the left side of the tower which on the flag lies.

Soldier's square
There aren't such specific place for uniting. One option is to unite whole team on the head of one of the statues so shooting capturers down is more difficult. However When all players are united on the one specific block they can't see anything so there is a chance that they simply fall from the statue(msgng in advance is good way to prevent this).

The tower
Unite the second last stairs before the top of the tower.

Helms deep
Actually because changing of possible unite areas I really haven't idea of the best places for uniting. the only one I know for sure is the caves where you can unite inside of the hall right front of the gate(looking at wixxi or another good player for other nice places for uniting)

Moria(flag capturing)
I haven't really played that so cannot again say sppecific places(looks at Wixxi again)

Uniting when defender

Always check before uniting that there aren't enemies nearer the flag than you are uniting. Sneaking donator can be very fatal in the situation where your team haven't defenders inside the gate for instance. Never unite too far from the gate because of this. Always try to fing some kind of highground for uniting(stairs or hills are good ones as your team's archers can easily shoot trolls down in by that way). Also save your unites for situations whhere you really need them(enemy unites, enemies are capturing etc.).

In other maps than flag capturing uniting is more optional. In Isengard it can be good to unite near the dam or top of the mountain as the ent(mountain camping fun with rocks). Goblins can try to unite to the towers or to another safe places as both teams can use uniting siply for reinforcements.

In Moria 2 (gold robbing) goblins can simply try to protect the person who is bringing gold by unites when dwarves simply try to stop them by unites.

Some tricks for fast unites
Try to keep looking clock for next possible unite. Also there is a command(/timeunite was it?) which you can use to check how long you have wait. If you are slow writer you can simply first type /unit and press enter. Unite doesn't happen as one e was missing. Next time when you want to use command itself you can simply press up-key and type e and press enter to get succesfull unite. If you have already used unite ypou can simply use up-key and enter to use unite and if you happen to own gaming keyboard/mouse (as I do) you can make macros for unite so you can simply use it by one click. :D
If it only lastes some seconds before next unite and you happen to be in good place for uniting try to survive by hiding or falling back for uniting.

I hope that this guide helped some people and I also hope that you would share your ideas and develope this guide as these are again only my own ideas. Discussion, please.

In some of gates you can simply unite behind the gate, and make flag captured in seconds. I names it a !suprise! Unites.

In Minas Tirith you can't.
Also, there's a 20 block protection radius around the Tree of Gondor. You can't unite next to it, you can unite 20 blocks away from it.

Helms deep you can unite in the room above the cave. ( useful when you can't get in through gate )

Wow uniting rules now then...Children always remember that you now have to calculate how far you unite or otherwise it may lead to ban!(11 block derp)
