Veterans (Not donations)

I had a discussion earlier today with some very silly people on the server concerning whether or not they're "veterans" of Empire War. obviously in my view, none on at the time were "veterans". In all honesty, I'm somewhat new in comparison to the lads before me, but that's another matter for later. Back to the point, as Plasticbutter so rudely pointed out (in full caps, near spam level I may add), the server started in November 2012 or something along the lines, don't hold me to the date though. Knowing this to be incorrect, I went on Skype and had a short chat with Tim. In his own words, he said he started his server in August 2011. Well, that's a big time difference, eh?

Now, I think the confusion came when I said "veteran" and didn't define it appropriately. What I meant was, to be a "veteran", you have to have had played on this server when it was originally role-play. If you don't know, then you can remember if so if you can picture the huge floating islands connected by chains. Possibly one of the best spawns I've seen in Minecraft (my opinion obviously). With that cleared up, I ask you now: are you a "veteran", a real "veteran" of Empire War?

P.S. If it makes you feel any better, I can classify those who know the original, original Helms Deep as Junior "Vets". :)

Also we were not telling you we are 'veterans' at all. Somebody donated to king and prometheus said 'another person wastes his money on this server'. I said prom doesn't like this server, despite the fat I know he's spent ages. Actually the only person that claimed they were a veteran was you. Nobody else. And of course we were going to argue with you, for the sake of argument and not letting you win. Nobody called you a noob. You called all of us noobs. I think you were rather unreasonable towards us. What is wrong with being a noob? And also none of us were noobs as a noob would be somebody that has no clue what they are doing.
 
I am a 'real Veteran' :D

And there is a older map, - Also a 4 element things - a Ocean map. 4 Islands and the spawn.

I believe you interpreted what I said as being serious, which it wasn't. I simply said later in life, where would you want this money? A simple, harmless question to chew on? About claiming to be a veteran, beastlycraft and plasticbutter among others claimed to be veterans, so remember to collect all your facts. And you're right, no one called me a "noob". I never said anyone called me a "noob" so I don't know where that statement came from? And for being a "noob", I called the general players on as a joke, because I believe the term to be used with a little bit of fun. There is nothing wrong with being new to the server, heck we are all new to a server compared to the owner. I never said anything against them?

So, how am I being unreasonable? Is this related to the fact that I called your 200 kill streak null and void because it was most likely with a Naz-gul, which Dmitiri also agreed with? I'm curious to know. :)
 
I know the old Helms Deep I used to be constructor and build up small "Siege Tower" things on it. It was a flat wall and it changed from Day to Night. It didn't look as imposing or epic. Definitely NO CAVES. Rohan always won since their was no charge out and didn't only end at the keep. There was a Left Gate which I would like to see brought back and there was no battering ram. Also the class for Uruk-Hai was not ladderer but constructor. Did I make it for junior vet? :P

Benjamin, that's a old Siege map. We are talking about the old Rp server/map. Not the huge one from 2013.

Yes, 100% Nazgul kills. But tell me, what is OP about Iron Boots, Leggings and Chestplate and a Stone Sword Enchanted with Sharpness 2 and Knockback 1 (or myabe it's knockback 2 and sharpness 1). I'm sure you know that, being a 'Veteran'.
People ( I'm not talking about you prom) think that Nazgul is super OP because it's in a dragon suit. The ability to fly isn't too strong either. Also Nazgul NEED kills or they die- the only way to heal as nazgul is by killing people, so when you are a troll you could just hide in a small hole until you've regenerated, Nazgul can't do that. It seems you think (like many others) donators need their classes because it's the only way we can survive. NOT TRUE! My 200 kills was nowhere near the top streak on the server, but 200 kills as Nazgul isn't easy, as 1 on 1 with a Standard Gondor Soldier would most likely result in the dragon dying. Seeing as I'm talking about my streak, I would like to make a complaint to any mods/admins that will listen, as it was ended extremely unfairly;
It was Minas Tirith, and the game had just started. I became Nazgul and got going I was on around 93 kills and the map ended. It switched to Isengard. I decided to wait it out becaue I didn't want to risk a silly death as ent. (My previous streak was 59, so I was taking no chances) on Minas Morgul I took the kills up to 159, then left when the game was over I left. I came back and luckily for me it was Tirith again. So I became Nazgul again. I got the kills up to 200, then the game ended. But this time, what I thought could happen happened: the game killed me, because it wouldn't allow me to be Nazgul in isengard. It hadn't killed me before, just taken away fly mode. So I was pretty annoyed to lose my streak to something dumb. Can I have my streak back to continue it please? I also understand any of you reading this and thinking how off topic this post is, please don't waste your time telling me that, I already know

And Tim, that spawn of the older Rp map was indeed one of the best I've ever seen.

So you are still peeved about that, and therefore attempting to argue about through another topic that is completely unrelated. I understand everything now.

Also, don't take this thread with extreme seriousness. I simply wanted to see how many players were left from the good old days. That simple. :)

If you take the old RP server from where we both played.. Not many. Most of them just got other server where they now play on, or even different games..

Once? Strange, was quite active back then. Holidays and the other server I mainly played on just got turned down.. So I had quite some time back then.
