Why is there so much hacking lately?

I have noticed that many people have lately been hacking, and my older bro too. once as a commander, i got 4 hit killed (3 hearts per hit, even though they weren't direct at all) and got once as i troll i got insta-killed on moria from a axeman.

did they find a glitch in the anti-cheat for hacking?

Why didn't you tell your brother to quit it and stop. Just go on his account ( If you know his password or he is already logged in) Take a picture of him hacking, go to your PC, access his PC in the Windows Explorer ( If it is in your Explorer ) then report it. People hack cause they can't win without the hacks. Sometimes they think it is funny to see people complain, sometimes they like to get banned cause they're bored. Hackers are just people who has nothing else to do and want to win. They don't understand that it is just a game and not real life. In reality can you hack your life? No, so they do it on servers like us and ruin the fun out of everything.
